The a-LTG 1700-DD burner is equipped with the "Double push" control concept. Control of the DD consists of two ergonomic buttons. Button 1 means power on and power off. Button 2 is used to call up the second stream.

TIG welders place extremely high demands on the comfort and user-friendliness of the torch. With great dedication and ingenuity and the clear conviction that "only practice counts", our product designers, engineers and other TIG welders have worked to optimise the ergonomics of our new TIG torch. The result is convincing. Its name is the i-Torch program. It's not just about putting a reasonably comfortable, controllable TIG torch in the hands of welders. Our goal was to create functionality and ergonomics that allow you to work without fatigue and errors and thus significantly more efficiently. Thanks to the special design of the i-Torch burner, among other things, the control buttons have been positioned more forward, minimizing the distance between the hand and the arc. Even small details have been optimised. The best example, the second stream trigger, which is placed intentionally higher than the UpDown control, prevents unwanted pre-setting of the second stream or other parameters.
