Equipment analysis: The equipment analysis is carried out in 48 steps, through which a detailed verification of the equipment condition is performed, from external connections to the inspection of the internal parts of the welding assembly.

Visual inspection: The visual inspection of the equipment consists of a physical check of the most stressed parts of the inspected device, starting with the power switching element, through the welding transformer, up to the secondary rectification.

Function check: The function check means verifying all actuating elements involved in setting up the welding equipment. These are most commonly control panels, buttons, indicator lights, and switches.

Welding test: After any service intervention, each welding machine undergoes a test welding process to ensure 100% confirmation of the equipment functionality and verification of the machine’s readiness for operation.

Equipment cleaning: Equipment cleaning involves complete disassembly of the machine covers followed by very thorough yet gentle cleaning of the internal machine parts, including electronic components, coolers, gear parts of the drive mechanism, and others. The cleaning medium used is compressed air. It is blown into the equipment and then, together with impurities, extracted into a special collection system developed by Valtec for these purposes. This method minimizes the spread of dirt and dust into the working environment, which is otherwise a common occurrence during this procedure. At the same time, it minimizes the risk of equipment damage caused by short circuits due to contamination and maximizes the efficiency of the machine’s cooling systems.

Telephone support: Telephone support means that after registering contact details with the service department, the customer has access to 24-hour phone support capable of quickly identifying a potential problem, assessing its severity, and in the case of a minor fault, resolving the issue over the phone, thereby minimizing production downtime. In the case of more complex failures, the service department will recommend possible solutions and, if necessary, arrange a personal visit by a service technician at the fault location to repair the machine whenever possible.

24-hour service: The 24-hour service is a service guaranteeing the customer a reduction of undesirable equipment downtime in the event of a malfunction to a maximum of 24 hours. A service technician will be informed about the issue and will ensure that the customer can continue production with minimal interruption. There will be two ways of resolving the fault situation. The first solution is repairing the defective equipment directly at the customer’s site using available options, skills, and spare parts. The second option is providing the customer with a replacement machine in case the damaged equipment cannot be repaired on-site due to unforeseen circumstances. The replacement machine will be provided free of charge until the repaired equipment is returned to the customer.

Equipment calibration: Calibration of welding equipment in accordance with the EN50504 standard verifies/validates whether the welding equipment meets the accuracy requirements for the set welding parameters. In particular, the output values of electric current, voltage, and welding wire feed speed are verified. This service is mainly intended for operations where higher product quality is required, where welding parameters are precisely defined and must be maintained. It is also used in operations where weld quality is inspected for potential defects. However, it is also frequently used by customers who simply want to maintain their machinery fleet at a high standard, in maximum quality and readiness.

Output report: The output report consists of several parts. In the first part, the customer receives a complete report on the condition of their equipment. If any deficiencies are identified, these findings will be described in the conclusion of the Equipment Inspection Report, including a proposed solution. The customer will also receive a price quotation for the removal of the identified deficiencies. In the second part, the customer receives an Inspection Report according to EN60974-4 and an inspection label with the inspection validity date, which declare the electrical safety of the equipment.

Equipment inspection: VALTEC performs equipment inspections in accordance with EN 60974-4, where the equipment is tested from a safety perspective regarding the protection of operator health, as well as protection against potential property damage.
