BOHLER FOX EV 50 Basic Electrode 2.0 × 300 mm / 0.8 kg / 65 pcs (89632) Dry System 20
BÖHLER FOX EV 50 is a high-quality basic low-hydrogen electrode designed for MMA manual metal arc welding of non-alloy and fine-grain structural steels. It features high strength, good toughness down to -50 °C and very low diffusible hydrogen content, making it suitable for demanding and mechanically stressed welded joints.
The electrode is suitable for welding steel structures, boilers, pressure vessels, machinery, vehicles, ship and offshore constructions. The good mechanical properties of the weld metal allow its use with steels having higher requirements for strength and toughness.
The 2.0 × 300 mm variant is supplied in Dry System 20 vacuum packaging, which protects the electrodes from atmospheric humidity and helps maintain low hydrogen content in the electrode coating.
