Basic electrode STAVINOX 7018-1 2.0 × 300 mm / 5 kg VacPack
STAVINOX 7018-1 Basic Electrode is designed for manual arc welding of structural, carbon, and low-alloy steels. It is used for welding strong and stressed joints, steel structures, frames, reinforcements, engineering components, pipelines, repairs, and assembly work.
The 2.0 mm diameter is particularly suitable for thin to medium-thickness steel materials where good control of the weld pool, a stable arc, and a reliable weld are required. The basic electrode coating helps achieve a strong, tough, and mechanically resistant weld metal with low hydrogen content.
The 5 kg VacPack packaging protects the electrodes from moisture and helps preserve their welding properties until opening. It is suitable for workshops, service centres, maintenance, assembly teams, and production where electrodes are used regularly and stable weld quality is essential.
Main advantages:
- Basic coated electrode for MMA welding
- Suitable for structural, carbon, and low-alloy steels
- Designed for strong and mechanically stressed joints
- Diameter 2.0 mm for thin to medium-thick materials
- Good strength and toughness of the weld metal
- Low-hydrogen version for a higher quality weld
- VacPack packaging for protection against moisture
- Suitable for workshop, service, assembly, and production use
