STAVINOX Basic Electrode 7018-1 - 2.5 × 350 mm / 5 kg VacPack
STAVINOX 7018-1 Basic Electrode is designed for manual arc welding of structural, carbon, and low-alloy steels. It is used for creating strong and mechanically stressed joints, welding steel structures, frames, beams, reinforcements, pipes, engineering parts and for repair work.
Diameter 2.5 mm is a universal choice for welding thinner to medium-thick steel materials. The electrode provides a stable arc, good control of the weld pool and high-quality weld metal with good strength and toughness. The basic low-hydrogen character is particularly suitable where joint reliability and higher mechanical resistance are required.
The 5 kg VacPack packaging protects the electrodes from moisture and helps preserve their welding properties until opening. It is practical for workshops, service sites, assembly teams, maintenance and production, where electrodes are used regularly and stable welding quality is important.
Main advantages:
- Basic coated electrode for MMA welding
- Suitable for structural, carbon, and low-alloy steels
- Designed for strong and mechanically stressed joints
- Diameter 2.5 mm for universal workshop and assembly use
- Good strength, toughness and mechanical resistance of the weld metal
- Stable arc and good control during welding
- Low-hydrogen version for a higher quality weld
- VacPack packaging for protection against moisture
