BÖHLER Phoenix Spezial D are high-quality basic coated electrodes designed for MMA welding of non-alloy and fine-grained structural steels. Thanks to a stable arc, good welding properties, and high-quality weld metal, they are suitable for workshop, assembly, and industrial use.

The electrode is suitable for welding in various positions except for the vertical downward position. They are used in the welding of steel structures, pressure vessels, pipelines, repairs, assemblies, and general metal fabrication. The 2.5 mm diameter is particularly suitable for thin to medium-thick materials, assembly welds and more precise work where good control over the weld pool is required.

The DrySystem 30 packaging protects the electrodes from moisture and allows them to be used directly from the vacuum packaging without additional drying, provided the manufacturer's conditions are met. This is a practical solution especially for field work, installations and operations where the reliability of basic electrodes and the limitation of moisture absorption are essential.
