Tooth Shape – The special arrangement of 4 to 6 teeth per inch and a positive tooth angle of 10° provides the following advantages:

• Faster and more aggressive sawing.
• Improved heat dissipation during sawing ensures longer life of the cutting edge.
• Deeper curved teeth ensure more efficient chip removal, preventing clogging and heating.
• The specially shaped tooth angle has less tendency to jam when sawing thinner materials.
• The teeth have alternating positions to minimize bending and friction.
• The lower cutting pressure required for sawing is achieved by a suitable combination of aggressive tooth geometry and good chip evacuation.

Tooth Material – Matrix II premium high-speed steel is used for the tooth part of the hole saw. Matrix II steel contains 8% cobalt, which allows the tooth to retain its original hardness even at high working temperatures when sawing metals.

Bi-Metal Construction – High-speed steel teeth laser-welded to a high-alloy steel saw body. The teeth are vacuum hardened to a hardness of 65 HRC at a temperature of 600°C, which guarantees maximum durability. Thanks to the high wear resistance of Matrix II steel, these circular saws are suitable for sawing hard materials such as stainless steel, acid-resistant steel and even softer materials such as wood.

Saw Body – The 1.27 mm thick hole saw body is strong, allowing it to retain its shape, but is also flexible enough. The effective cutting depth is 41 mm.

Back Plate Design – The back plates are made of thick steel, which guarantees that the precise hole diameter is maintained even after prolonged use.

• The back plate adds strength and rigidity, minimising vibration.
• 4 holes are used for easy positioning of the mounting mandrel.
• Perfect centering of the back wall is a prerequisite for good saw quality, especially with large diameters.
• The diagonal slits help to remove and pull the crown.

Usage – The high quality of the production technologies guarantees precise centring, therefore these hole saws are suitable for hand drilling as well as stand drilling (manual feed only).
