Milwaukee PH 28 X is a corded SDS-Plus combination hammer designed for drilling, hammer drilling, and light chiselling work. The manufacturer has optimised it primarily for drilling holes with a diameter of 8 to 18 mm, while the maximum drilling capacity in concrete reaches 28 mm.

A powerful mechanism with an oversized striker provides an impact energy of 3.4 J. The Soft Hammer function allows for reduced impact energy when working with more sensitive materials, and soft start helps ensure a precise start to drilling or chiselling.

The construction utilises IMB (Integrated Metal Block) technology, where a metal block is integrated into the transmission mechanism to increase the tool's durability. The ergonomic main and side handles with a Softgrip surface help reduce vibrations and improve control during operation.

A safety clutch protects both the user and the tool itself in the event of a drill bit jam. The hammer also features forward/reverse rotation and a switch lock for continuous operation.

The PH 28 X version is equipped with the FIXTEC™ system, which allows for quick chuck replacement. In addition to SDS-Plus, the included FIXTEC™ adapter with a 13 mm keyless chuck can therefore be used for cylindrical shank drills.
