Description Parameters

Description

It is generally applicable to armouring parts of steels, castings, manganese steels and tool steels. Particularly earthmoving and construction machinery parts, excavator bucket edges, teeth, buckets, rock treatment tools, crushing jaws and cones, threshing bars, hammer mills, cutting edges and cold working tool faces. The UTP 67 S type with the same characteristics is designed specifically for edges. It has excellent welding properties due to its quiet arc, uniform current and good weld deposition, easy slag removal. Welding: hold the electrode as perpendicular to the material as possible, weld with a short arc, preheat thick parts and high-strength steels to 200 - 300 °C. If more than 3-4 layers are required, use the softer electrodes UTP DUR 250 or UTP DUR 300. A cushion layer (interlayer) should be used under the topcoat on parts that are prone to cracking. Approvals: DB. Positions: PA, PB, PC, PD, PE and PF. Current: DC(+)/AC. Diameters: 2,5mm, 3,2mm, 4,0mm, 5,0mm.
