STAVINOX Electrode 312-16 - 3.2 × 350 mm / 2 kg VacPack
STAVINOX Electrode 312-16 is a high-alloy coated electrode designed for MMA welding of difficult-to-weld steels, dissimilar materials, and repair welds. It is used in applications where a strong, ductile and durable weld with high crack resistance is required.
Diameter 3.2 mm is suitable for repairing medium to thick-walled parts, welding structural components, machine components, cast steel, tool steels and joints of dissimilar materials. The electrode is also used when joining stainless steel with carbon or low-alloy steel, for renovating worn parts and as a buttering layer before hardfacing.
VacPack packaging protects the electrodes from moisture and helps maintain stable welding properties until opened. STAVINOX 312-16 is a practical choice for service, maintenance, machine repairs, metal fabrication and more demanding workshop tasks where problematic or unknown materials are welded.
Main advantages:
- High-alloy electrode type 312-16
- Suitable for difficult-to-weld and dissimilar steels
- Usable for stainless steel, carbon steel, low-alloy steels, and cast steel
- High crack resistance of the weld metal
- Diameter 3.2 mm for medium to thick-walled parts
- Suitable for repairs, renovations, maintenance, and assembly work
- Possible use as an intermediate layer before hardfacing
