STAVINOX INOX 308L-17 Electrodes 3.2 × 350 mm / 2 kg VacPack (1.4316) are high-quality rutile coated electrodes designed for manual metal arc welding (MMA) of corrosion-resistant chrome-nickel steels of the 18% Cr / 8% Ni type. They are the ideal choice for welding stainless steels AISI 304, 304L, 321 and equivalent materials.
The low-carbon 308L-17 type ensures high resistance to intercrystalline corrosion and forms a ductile weld metal with a smooth appearance. The rutile coating allows for easy ignition, a stable arc, and very good slag removability, which facilitates work even when welding in multiple positions.
The electrodes are supplied in VacPack vacuum packaging, which protects the coating from dampening and preserves optimal welding properties until the package is opened.
They are suitable for the manufacture and repair of stainless steel structures, pipes, tanks, equipment for the food and chemical industries, as well as general engineering production.
