BÖHLER UTP 65 D Electrodes - 2.0 × 250 mm / 1.4 kg / 95623 / E312-17 / Dry System 20
BÖHLER UTP 65 D are specially coated electrodes designed for MMA welding, repairs and surfacing of difficult-to-weld steels. Thanks to the austenitic-ferritic weld metal, they are suitable where a high-strength, tough and durable weld with increased crack resistance is required.
The electrodes are used primarily for welding tool steels, spring steels, manganese steels and high-speed steels, as well as for joining dissimilar materials, such as austenitic and ferritic steels. They are also suitable for repairs of machine parts, shafts, gears, cams, moulds, blanking tools and stressed components.
The 2.0 × 250 mm version is suitable for more precise repairs, smaller parts, thin to medium-thick materials and work requiring better control over the weld pool. The Dry System 20 packaging helps protect the electrodes from moisture and maintain their readiness for use when stored correctly.
Main advantages:
- Special electrode for repairs and surfacing
- Suitable for difficult-to-weld steels
- Usable for tool, spring, manganese and high-speed steels
