Milwaukee /48899350/ is a combined 10-piece set of step drills and THUNDERWEB™ HSS-G twist metal drill bits. It is designed for professional drilling of metal materials, covering everything from small precision holes to larger diameters created by the step drills.

According to Milwaukee, the step drills are suitable for ferrous and non-ferrous sheets, profiles and tubes, copper, brass, aluminium, stainless steel and plastics. The maximum recommended material thickness is 4 mm, and the manufacturer recommends using cutting fluid to achieve the longest possible service life.

THUNDERWEB™ HSS-G drills feature a conical core that strengthens towards the rear of the drill. The parabolic core geometry increases its strength, and the flute design helps quickly remove hot chips and heat.

A 135° split point allows for precise drill positioning and reduces skidding at the start of drilling. The polished surface reduces friction and contributes to a longer tool life.
