In order to protect the tungsten electrode and the weld from oxidation, the automatic gas management controls the pre- and post-gas flow. The operation of the welding inverter is extremely simple and intuitive and leads to good welding results thanks to the automatic adjustment. The LORCH HandyTIG welding inverters have an integrated pulse function up to 2 kHz, which provides additional advantages when welding thin sheets. Various hand and foot controllers are available for the Lorch HandyTIG series to easily adjust the welding current. The intelligent burner control automatically identifies whether to use a standard burner or one of the new, all-digital Lorch i-Torch with Powermaster remote control. The automatic hot start ensures perfect ignition, the Anti-Stick system reliably prevents electrode sticking and the Arc-Force control supports the welding process with increased arc stability and optimum material transition.
