TIG WELD ML4043 (AlSi5) Wire 2.0x1000mm/5kg

TIG WELD ML4043 (AlSi5) 2.0 × 1000 mm wire is a high-quality aluminium filler material designed for TIG welding of aluminium alloys. It complies with the EN ISO 18273 – S Al 4043 (AlSi5) classification and is one of the most widely used filler materials for welding cast and wrought aluminium alloys.

A content of approximately 5 % silicon (Si) ensures excellent weld pool fluidity, good material fusion, and reduces the risk of hot cracking during welding. The weld metal is characterised by a smooth surface and a very good weld appearance.

AlSi5 wire is particularly suitable for welding alloys of the AlSi, AlSiMg and AlMgSi (6xxx) groups. It is frequently used for repairing aluminium castings, manufacturing structures, automotive components and engineering parts.

Precisely cut rods with a length of 1000 mm allow for convenient handling and a stable welding process. The material provides good corrosion resistance and minimal susceptibility to porosity when using the correct welding technology.
