TIG WELD ML5356 (AlMg5) 1.6 × 1000 mm wire is a high-quality aluminium filler material intended for TIG welding of aluminium alloys with magnesium content. It corresponds to the AlMg5 (EN ISO 18273 – S Al 5356) classification and is among the most commonly used filler materials for welding structural aluminium alloys.

Thanks to a content of approximately 5% magnesium, the weld metal provides high strength, good toughness, and excellent corrosion resistance, especially in marine and industrial environments.

The wire is suitable for welding AlMg (5xxx) type alloys and many alloys of the AlMgSi (6xxx) group. It is used in the production of aluminium structures, tanks, transport vehicles, marine components, and in the repair of aluminium parts.

Precisely cut rods with a length of 1000 mm ensure convenient handling and a stable welding process. In the TIG process, it provides a clean weld, good material fusion, and an aesthetic appearance of the weld bead.
