Precise Tungsten Electrode Grinding

One of the main advantages of NEUTRIX is longitudinal grinding of the electrode. Correctly oriented grinding marks support a stable electric arc and repeatable electrode properties during TIG welding.

The electrode holder ensures centering and controlled feed towards the diamond wheel. An adjustable scale allows for easy setting of the required tip geometry according to the specific welding application.

Angle Adjustment

The grinder allows for the adjustment of:

This makes it possible to adapt the tungsten electrode geometry to the type of welding, the current used, and the required properties of the welding arc.

Integrated Filter

Diamond grinding wheel

The grinder uses a diamond wheel Ø 40 mm, which offers three separate grinding positions. By shifting the wheel, the grinding surface can be used more effectively and the operational life of the wheel extended.

Short electrodes

In the standard version, it is possible to grind electrodes with a minimum length of approximately 19 mm.

With special collets, it is possible to grind electrodes from approximately 15 mm, which is practical for orbital TIG welding and other applications using short tungsten electrodes.
