Tungsten Electrode E3® - purple, is a heat resistant rare earth electrode (mixed oxide) designed for TIG welding. Compared to the Thorium additive electrode, this electrode is less of a burden to the environment and is not radioactive.The electrode is applicable in the entire power range of welding of non-alloyed and high-alloyed steels, aluminium, titanium, nickel and magnesium alloys with direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC).
