Standard applications
Avesta Passivator 601 is designed for a wide range of industrial passivation applications, such as passivation after pickling or passivation after grinding, brushing, blasting or other mechanical treatments. Avesta Passivator 601 contains nitric acid. To improve safety and minimize environmental impact, we also recommend the use of our acid-free FinishOne 630 passivator.

Properties

• Accelerates the reconstruction of the protective chromium oxide layer.
• Removes surface contamination and iron particles from the stainless steel surface.

Surface restoration
Avesta Cleaner 401 can be used together with Avesta Passivator 601, which helps to regenerate the protective layer in stainless steel by accelerating the natural passivation process.
