MIG wire ALUNOX AlSi5 1.2mm/7kg (4043)

ALUNOX AlSi5 (ER4043) is an aluminium filler material designed for MIG welding of aluminium-silicon alloys. A silicon content of approximately 5% ensures very good welding properties and is suitable for the welding and repair of a wide range of aluminium alloys.

The manufacturer recommends this wire primarily for welding alloys EN AW-3003, 3004, 6060, 6061, 6063, 6082, as well as many aluminium castings containing silicon. It is suitable for the manufacture and repair of structures in the automotive, transport and mechanical engineering industries, and for the production of tanks, frames and other aluminium components.

For welding, it is recommended to use a shielding gas of 100 % argon (I1) or argon-helium mixtures (I3) depending on the requirements of the specific application.
