ALUNOX CuAl9 Fe MIG Wire 1.0 mm / 15 kg / 2.0937 / S300
ALUNOX CuAl9Fe MIG wire is a solid copper- and aluminium-based welding wire designed for MIG welding and surfacing of aluminium bronzes and related copper alloys. With an aluminium content of approximately 9 to 10% and the addition of iron, the weld metal provides good strength and resistance to wear and corrosion, including the effects of seawater. It is suitable for joining copper alloys, as well as for selected dissimilar joints between copper, steel, and cast iron.
It is used in the manufacture and repair of pumps, valves, ship propellers, shafts, sliding surfaces, guide rails, and other machine components exposed to friction and corrosive environments. It is also used for the repair surfacing of steel and cast iron parts where a protective layer of aluminium bronze is required. A diameter of 1.0 mm allows for more precise welding and surfacing with good control of the weld pool. The 15 kg S300 spool is suitable for regular use in mechanical engineering, maintenance, and industrial operations.
