MIG wire ELBOR AlMg4,5Mn 1,0/7kg (1.5183) D-300

ELBOR AlMg4,5Mn (1.5183) 1.0 mm is a solid MIG welding wire designed for welding Al-Mg aluminium alloys with a magnesium content of up to 5%. It conforms to classifications EN ISO 18273: S Al 5183 (AlMg4,5Mn) and AWS A5.10: ER5183.

The wire is intended for welding structures requiring higher weld metal strength and good corrosion resistance. Typical areas of application include the shipbuilding industry, offshore structures, railway vehicles, the automotive industry and tank production.

It is recommended to use Argon (I1) shielding gas or Argon/Helium (I3) mixtures for welding, depending on application requirements. The wire is supplied on a standard D300 spool weighing 7 kg.
