STAVINOX ER 316LSi MIG Wire 1.6 mm / 15 kg / 1.4430 / BS300
STAVINOX ER 316LSi MIG wire is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel welding wire designed for MIG/MAG welding of chrome-nickel-molybdenum steels, primarily types AISI 316 and 316L. Thanks to its chromium, nickel and molybdenum content, it provides good resistance to general, pitting and crevice corrosion, particularly in chloride-containing environments. The low carbon content reduces the risk of intergranular corrosion, while the increased silicon content ensures good weld pool fluidity, a stable arc and a smooth weld appearance.
It is used in the production and repair of stainless steel piping, tanks, pressure vessels, reservoirs, heat exchangers and technological components in the chemical, petrochemical, food and pharmaceutical industries. The 1.6 mm diameter is suitable for welding thicker materials and larger weld joints, enabling high welding performance and efficient wire melting. The 15 kg BS300 spool is practical for regular use in metal fabrication, maintenance, repair, and industrial operations.
Main advantages:
- Stainless steel MIG/MAG wire type ER 316LSi
