STAVINOX ER 347Si MIG Wire 1.0 mm / 15 kg / 1.4551 / BS300
STAVINOX ER 347Si MIG wire is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel welding wire designed for MIG/MAG welding of stabilised chrome-nickel steels, primarily types AISI 321 and 347. Thanks to its Cr-Ni composition and niobium stabilisation, it provides excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion of the weld metal. The increased silicon content supports a stable arc, good weld metal flow, and a smooth appearance of the weld joint.
It is used in the manufacture and repair of stainless steel pipes, tanks, reservoirs, process equipment, heat exchangers, and structures made of austenitic stainless steels. It is particularly suitable for welding stabilised steels in the chemical, petrochemical, food and engineering industries. A diameter of 1,0 mm provides a good compromise between welding precision and deposition rate for thin and medium-thickness materials. The 15 kg BS300 spool is practical for regular use in workshops, metal fabrication, maintenance and industrial operations.
Main advantages:
- Stainless MIG/MAG wire type ER 347Si
- Suitable for welding stabilised austenitic steels AISI 321 and 347
