MIG WELD SG3 Wire 1.0 mm / 250 kg / JQ MG50-6A / GOLDEN BRIDGE / G4Si1 / DRUM
MIG WELD SG3 JQ MG50-6A wire from GOLDEN BRIDGE is a copper-coated solid welding wire designed for MAG welding of non-alloy and low-alloy structural steels. It complies with the SG3 / G4Si1 / ER70S-6 classification and features an increased manganese and silicon content, which supports the deoxidation of the weld pool and ensures high-quality mechanical properties of the weld metal.
The wire provides a stable welding arc, low spatter formation, excellent feeding properties, and a uniform appearance of the weld joint. According to the manufacturer, it has a good tolerance for scale and slight surface contamination of the base material, as well as reduced sensitivity to porosity. It is suitable for welding in all common welding positions using CO2 shielding gas or an Ar/CO2 mixture.
It is used in the production of steel structures, bridges, construction elements, automotive components, frames, pipelines, and machine parts. It is specifically designed for welding structural steels S235, S275 and S355 and other compatible unalloyed and low-alloy steels. The 1.0 mm diameter provides a good balance between welding precision and deposition rate. The high-capacity 250 kg DRUM packaging is suitable for mechanised, automated, and robotic welding, reducing wire change frequency and production downtime.
