CAREER DAY at the TUZVO Faculty of Technology
We participated in Career Day 2023, which took place at the Technical University of Zvolen. The Technical University of Zvolen provided us with the opportunity to share valuable information with students about the skills and knowledge from the world of welding that are highly sought after in today’s job market.
During the theoretical lecture, students actively participated in welding-focused training. They explored topics such as welding methods, techniques, and safety protocols, gaining essential knowledge of welding processes. However, the event was not limited to theory alone. Career Day offered students a dynamic learning experience by combining theoretical instruction with hands-on practice.
Thanks to access to a state-of-the-art welding simulator, students had the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in a simulated real-world environment. Under the guidance of an instructor, they refined their skills, practiced various welding techniques, and became familiar with the complexities of welding torch operation.
This combination of theory and practice not only deepened their understanding of welding principles but also built confidence in their ability to transform theoretical knowledge into practical skills.
