UTP 8 is for cold welding of grey and tempered cast iron, steelsteel and for joining these base metals with steel, copper and copper alloys, especially for repair and maintenance. UTP 8 has excellent welding properties. Easily adjustable flow allows spatter-free welding in all positions with minimum current intensity. Surge and transition zones are fillable. Ideally suited for combined welding with ferronickel type UTP 86 FN (coating UTP 8 and filling UTP 86 FN). Minimum mechanical properties of weld metal Rp0.2 220Mpa Hardness 180HB
