Gas distributors - ABICOR BINZEL

Gas distributors are devices that ensure the even distribution of shielding gas, such as argon, CO2 or mixtures thereof, to multiple welding torches or workstations. Uniform gas flow is critical to create stable protection of the weld area from atmospheric influences such as oxidation and contamination, which is essential to achieve strong, high quality welds.
Quality gas manifolds must be made of durable materials that ensure long-term reliability and accuracy. Stainless steel and special alloys that resist corrosion and mechanical wear are most commonly used. Gas manifolds contain a variety of valves and control mechanisms that allow precise adjustment of the gas flow according to the needs of the specific welding process.
Regular maintenance of gas manifolds is important to maintain their functionality and efficiency. It is important to regularly check the condition of the valves and control mechanisms to prevent problems with irregular gas flow or gas leaks. Where necessary, repairs or replacement of damaged parts should be carried out to ensure reliable and constant gas flow.
