Valtec-Zvarcentrum at the 23rd annual conference “Quality in Welding”

From April 23 to 25, 2025, we once again participated in the international conference “Quality in Welding” organized by VÚZ. This year marked the 23rd edition, and we proudly took part as the general sponsor of the event.

Active participation in the expert program

Besides our sponsorship, we were also involved actively – with our own technical lecture and presentation of Valtec-Zvarcentrum, where we highlighted our experience and technological solutions.

Presentation of products and technologies

Throughout the entire event, held at the Grandhotel Praha in Tatranská Lomnica, we had a presentation booth where we showcased selected products from our portfolio to participants in a hands-on way:

Inspiring Technical Program

The conference also included several valuable technical presentations that addressed current topics in the field of welding, such as:

• Orbital welding
• Analysis of wear of rolls for continuous steel casting and their lifetime during SAW cladding
• Residual stresses after welding and their effect on the operation of structures
• Fatigue properties of laser-welded joints of high-strength steels
• Causes of corrosion in flue gas environments
• Technological challenge – replacement of double-wing gates of a lock chamber on the Neckar River

Conclusion

This year’s conference was once again very successful and inspiring. We appreciate the high quality of technical content and the strong interest in our solutions. We are already looking forward to the next edition in 2026, where we will definitely be present again.
