MIG WELD SG2 Wire 0.6 mm / 5 kg / JQ MG50-6 / GOLDEN BRIDGE / G3Si1 / D200
MIG WELD SG2 JQ MG50-6 wire from GOLDEN BRIDGE is a copper-coated solid welding wire intended for MAG welding of non-alloy and low-alloy structural steels. It complies with the SG2 / G3Si1 / ER70S-6 classification and, thanks to its manganese and silicon content, provides excellent weld pool deoxidation, a stable welding arc, low spatter, and a high-quality weld seam appearance.
The wire is characterised by good feeding properties, low sensitivity to porosity, and good tolerance to mill scale and slight surface contamination of the base material. The copper-coated surface ensures reliable electrical contact during welding. It is suitable for welding in all common welding positions using CO2 shielding gas or an Ar/CO2 mixture.
It is used in the manufacture and repair of steel structures, car bodies, thin-walled profiles, frames, machine parts, and other welded components. It is particularly suitable for welding structural steels S235, S275 and S355 and other compatible unalloyed and low-alloy steels. The 0.6 mm diameter allows for precise welding of thin sheets at a lower welding current and better control of heat input. The 5 kg D200 spool is practical for use in smaller welders, workshops, garages, and for bodywork repairs.
