STAVINOX ER 307Si is a high-alloy austenitic TIG filler wire designed primarily for welding dissimilar, manganese, and difficult-to-weld steels. The high manganese content supports the toughness and resistance of the weld metal to cracking, while the increased silicon content improves the flowability of the weld pool.

A diameter of 1.6 mm is versatile for TIG welding of repairs, transition joints, and stressed steel components. The wire is also suitable for creating tough intermediate layers before hardfacing and for repairs of tool, spring, or manganese steels.
