TIG wire STAVINOX ER 316LSi is a stainless steel welding rod designed for TIG welding of austenitic Cr-Ni-Mo steels of type 316 and 316L. The low carbon content supports resistance to intergranular corrosion, while the molybdenum content increases the weld's durability in more corrosively demanding environments.

The increased silicon content improves the fluidity of the weld metal and helps create a smooth, uniform weld bead. The 3.2 mm diameter is particularly suitable for welding thicker parts and joints, where a greater amount of filler material needs to be added. It is used in the production of piping, tanks, and industrial stainless steel structures.
