MIG wire BÖHLER Q G 316LSi 1.0 mm / 15 kg / ER316LSi / 1.4430 (72117)
BÖHLER Q G 316LSi MIG wire is a solid, high-alloy austenitic stainless steel welding wire designed for MIG/MAG welding of chrome-nickel-molybdenum steels and similar stainless materials. It corresponds to classification ER316LSi / G 19 12 3 L Si / 1.4430. Thanks to its low carbon content and the addition of molybdenum, it provides weld metal with excellent corrosion resistance, including intergranular corrosion. Increased silicon content supports good weld metal flow and a smooth bead appearance.
The welding wire is characterised by very good welding and feeding properties, a stable arc, and good weld metal toughness. Corrosion resistance corresponds to similar low-carbon and stabilised chrome-nickel-molybdenum steels. It is suitable for welding both non-stabilised and stabilised austenitic stainless steels. It is used with shielding gases M12 or M13 according to EN ISO 14175.
BÖHLER Q G 316LSi is suitable for welding steels EN 1.4401, 1.4404, 1.4435, 1.4436, 1.4571 and 1.4583, as well as AISI 316L, 316Ti and other compatible stainless steels. It is used in the manufacture and repair of stainless steel pipes, tanks, pressure vessels, process vessels and structures in the chemical, food and engineering industries. The 1.0 mm diameter provides a good combination of welding precision and deposition rate. The 15 kg spool is designed for professional and industrial use.
