BÖHLER UNION NiMoCr MIG Wire 1.2 mm / 18 kg / ER100S-G / BS300 (13350)
BÖHLER UNION NiMoCr MIG wire is a copper-coated solid low- to medium-alloy welding wire designed for MAG welding of high-strength structural steels. It complies with classifications EN ISO 16834-A: G 69 6 M21 Mn4Ni1,5CrMo and AWS A5.28: ER100S-G [ER100S-1 (mod.)]. Alloying with nickel, molybdenum, chromium, and manganese ensures high weld metal strength, good toughness, and resistance to mechanical stress.
The wire is primarily intended for welding quenched and tempered and thermo-mechanically rolled fine-grained structural steels with a yield strength of approximately 690 MPa. It is also suitable for welding selected wear-resistant and armour steels, provided the welding procedure allows it. The weld metal exhibits good toughness even at low temperatures, achieving the required impact energy values at -60 °C when using M21 shielding gas.
BÖHLER UNION NiMoCr is used in the manufacture of cranes, lifting equipment, construction machinery, transport technology, high-strength load-bearing structures, and piping systems. It is suitable for welding S620Q, S620QL, S690Q, S690QL, S700MC steels and other compatible high-strength materials. It is used with M21 (Ar/CO2) or C1 (CO2) shielding gases. The diameter of 1.2 mm enables productive welding of medium-thick and thicker steel parts. The wire is supplied on an 18 kg BS300 spool for professional and industrial use.
