STAVINOX ER 309LSi is a stainless steel TIG filler wire designed primarily for welding dissimilar materials, particularly joints between stainless and non-alloy or low-alloy steel. The high chromium and nickel content enhances the weld metal's resistance to corrosion and cracking, while the increased silicon content improves the fluidity of the weld pool.

A diameter of 1.2 mm allows for precise dosing of filler material when welding thinner parts, root runs and smaller joints. The wire is also suitable for intermediate layers before surfacing and for cladding non-alloy steels with stainless material.
