STAVINOX ER 309LSi is a stainless TIG filler wire designed primarily for welding dissimilar joints between stainless and unalloyed or low-alloy steel. It is also used for creating buttering layers before surfacing and when welding clad steels.

The increased silicon content promotes good weld pool fluidity and the formation of a smooth weld bead. A diameter of 2.4 mm is suitable for TIG welding of medium-thickness parts, pipes, tanks and steel structures where a larger amount of filler material needs to be added.
