ELBOR SG3 SOLUTION 3 MIG wire is a non-copper coated solid welding wire designed for MAG welding of non-alloy and low-alloy structural steels. It belongs to the SG3 / G4Si1 material class, characterised by an increased manganese and silicon content. These elements support the deoxidation of the weld pool and contribute to achieving high-quality weld joints with good mechanical properties.

The non-copper coated surface of the wire eliminates the release of particles from the traditional copper layer into the feeding system. The wire provides a stable welding arc, low spatter, and a high-quality weld appearance when welding parameters are correctly set. It is suitable for manual, mechanised and automated welding under the protection of Ar/CO2 mixed gases or pure CO2.

It is used in the production of steel structures, frames, car bodies, pipes, machine parts, and other welded components. It is particularly suitable for welding structural steels S235, S275, S355 and other materials depending on the required mechanical properties of the weld. The 1.2 mm diameter is suitable for medium and thick materials, allowing for higher deposition rates and efficient creation of larger welded joints. The 16 kg B300 spool is practical for regular use in metal fabrication, maintenance, and industrial operations.
