MIG wire BÖHLER EMK 6-Ultra 1.0 mm / 18 kg / SG2 / G3Si1 / BS300 (89151)
BÖHLER EMK 6-Ultra MIG wire is a high-quality copper-coated solid welding wire designed for MAG welding of non-alloy and low-alloy structural steels. It corresponds to classification SG2 / G3Si1 / ER70S-6 according to EN ISO 14341-A and AWS A5.18. Thanks to its optimised manganese and silicon content, it provides good deoxidation properties, a stable welding arc, low spatter formation and reliable mechanical properties of the weld metal.
The wire is produced using CST (Controlled Surface Treatment) technology, which ensures a uniform surface finish and supports smooth wire feeding even at high welding speeds. The result is stable electrical contact, reliable arc ignition, low silicate formation on the weld surface, and a reduced need for subsequent cleaning. It is suitable for manual, mechanised and robotic welding using Ar/CO2 (M21) or CO2 (C1) shielding gas.
BÖHLER EMK 6-Ultra is used in the manufacture of steel structures, machinery, frames, transport equipment, containers, tanks, pipelines and other welded components. It is suitable for welding structural steels S235, S275, S355 and other compatible steels with a yield strength of approximately up to 420 MPa. A diameter of 1.0 mm provides a good combination of deposition rate, weld pool control, and versatile application. The 18 kg BS300 spool is designed for professional metal fabrication, locksmith workshops, and industrial welding sites.
